Answer: Go to SDC Platinum and search VentureXpert which is also available via VentureXpert Web

Go to Zephyr. Search by Deal type & method of payment - Financing.

Go to ABI/Inform, Business Source Complete, Factiva, or LexisNexis for articles

Go to Bloomberg (MIT Sloan only available in E52-010), type Venture Capital and hit the HELP key

Go to Pratt's Guide to Private Equity Sources (Reference HG64.P73)

Go to Galante's Venture Capital and Private Equity Directory (Reference HG4961.V36)

Go to Venture Capital Journal (Reserve)

Go to National Association of Secretaries of State for links to individual states' web sites. There you can search databases of registered companies (including private) which may include information on shares held.
